Happy to. My affection for them grows, almost from recording to recording, day to day, to the point where I barely listen to anything else. What has grown on me most noticeably has been a sense of space and dimensionality. Orchestras have remarkable spatial depth to go along with the great Voce texture, timbre, and presence. That may be the reason that both Jean Claude and I don't miss the floor-standing bass of the Abscissas. That kind of bass used to matter to me more. There is a fullness to the presentation of the Voce that, as I've said earlier and in other ways, seems to make low bass energy a non-issue. If anything, it seems to increase bass definition. So I guess I have to say, again, that these have become the best speakers I know of. They are at least my personal favorites.
I haven't thrown any other amps at them yet. They seem to love the beauty and energy of Gilbert's latest integrateds with external power supplies. My new nine watt 300B Audio Note Meishu Tonmeister integrated has been looking at the Voces hungrily, so as counter-intuitive as it sounds, I may have to give it a try, if only to be able to give good advice to others. But who knows? The Tonmeister's new Audio Note 4300E 300B tubes are amazing. And the Voce are eight ohms...-!
