Giving a functioning pair of Fulton FMI-80's to my friend, and need to purchase a modern receiver, with FM S, HD, digital ready with HDMI. Maybe a AVR. Know about the HK 430, but cannot take a chance on old gear. Total cost under $400-500, new. Is there a decent unit like this out there? In the interim, will loan him a separates system from my office (I retired). PS Audio 4H, GAS Son of Amp, mod I, his DVD player or a Sony I got in the GW, maybe a Panasonic DVD/VCR. Unit in my office which was a tiny box, sounded very good, and sounds good in our bedroom. |

Their lower priced stuff has gotten decent reviews IIRC. Check them out. |
