 As in: the same drivers, the same crossover components, the same sound, etc., but built by someone else?

Or, it just looks similar.

Please clarify.

 The difficulty with 1st order crossovers is that there really aren't drivers with wide enough bandwidth to get flat response and to really end up 1st order. Usually you have to first flatten out the driver with passive crossover parts in order to be able to apply the 1st order crossover often making a first order design as complex as a 4th order design.

 I was using the complexity of the crossover to show that the oft-held belief that a first order ELECTRICAL crossover will yield 1st order ACOUSTIC results. As can be seen in the crossover pics, a first order crossover will be much more complex than a second order one.
