I shipped a Marantz 2270 for restoration to Brent Huskins (DBA Crossed Paths Vintage) in Burleson, TX. During the following seven months, I periodically contacted him about status. Huskins indicated he was working on it and provided reasons/excuses for delay, including illness and poor weather. Some of my inquiries were ignored. After seven months, I requested that my receiver be returned as is. Huskins indicated he would provide a tracking number and ship that same week; he ceased communication, ignored follow-up inquires and did not ship.

I reported the events to the Burleson, TX Police Department and an officer visited Huskins at his home / place of business. Eventually, Huskins returned the receiver to me. He had never even opened the box that I shipped him.

The police officer with whom I spoke told me that 10 - 15 people have reported Huskins. I did not perform sufficient due diligence. Numerous complaints are out there, including those on BBB and Yelp. For anybody considering Brent Huskins and Crossed Paths Vintage for audio service, look elsewhere.
