I trying to remember 20 years ago a company came out with a SE amp that had 3 PSE 6L6 Per side. I owned one but didn't really like it as much as a SE 300B I built. What was that company? Anyone have a schematic? I suspect the issue was trying to 1) squeeze too much out of a 6L6 and 2) low quality output transformers.
Thanks for helping my 62 year old memory.

Notoriously troubled amp but has some following. Schematic on Elektrotanya

Thanks, that's it! Yeah, looked nice, didn't care for the sound. But if you could find one at a good price, might make a nice chassis. :-)

My friend has one.It sounds like shit, but I suspect that there is something wrong with it or the tubes are completely worn out. It's just not possible for a commercial product of some esteem to sound so bad.
Since I din't volunteer to check it out (for free) it gathers dust in the closet..
