 When we attended UC Santa Cruz in the early-1990s, of course we hit the beaches. But those were not in SoCal, so the sand was often dark and gross.  When we got to the beaches, we tried to study. For the most part, we did not feel like discussing academic subjects. However, many of us took American Popular Music, and yes, we did talk about music. When covering the roots of punk, the class brought up MC5, which stood for "Motor CIty 5."  From 1970, MC5's "Teenage Lust" is now 55 years-old. I'm not sure if Tuyet ["J + T" = John + Tuyet] was born that early, but when it came to MC5's "Teenage Lust," she laughed, "It's about the guy having blue balls." That enabled Tuyet to complain, "Well, if a guy has blue balls, I have... ...orange ovaries!" -Lummy The Loch Monster
