Mamboberry LS+ DAC

I've been pretty happy with my HiFiBerry+ up until the point that I heard the Mamboberry LS+. Powering it with a 5V 3A linear power supply and it sounds MUCH better than the HiFiBerry+ running in the same setup.

The best analogy I can give is the difference between 4k and 1080p. 1080p is fine until you watch 4k for awhile and then go back to 1080p. That's the difference in clarity and overall quality between these two cards.

R U running PiCorePlayer? If not - try it.

Allo will come up with a Kali2 reclocker soon. That'd
be the next step up.

Enjoy.

The Kali2 reclocker looks interesting. I have read a lot about jitter problems with the RP. It world make sense given that the RP is a bubudget general purpose device and not specifically designed for high end audio.

Tried pi core. Liked the sound in Volumio better. Using Moode right now because Volumio does not support the LS+ yet.

So, you're not using an external DAC?
