Video review here:

Price of $4500 makes it extremely affordable, given that you can't get
anything remotely comparable from other planar manufacturers for anywhere
close to that price.

Some may frown upon his rather frequent rave reviews, but I wouldn't have found out about this new iteration of Eminent Tech LFT8C otherwise. $4500 made-in-USA planar dipole speaker with active dipole bass? I hope this speaker gets the sales it deserves.

On a side note, I wish Sanders electrostat would follow Eminent tech in converting the sealed woofer to dipole to match the treble/mid panels!

always wanted to hear a pair of those since I owned my MG1.6's back around the turn of the Century.

The owners must be satisfied, you rarely see used ones up for sale.

If these are really as good as Guttenburg say's they are, I wish one of the bigger electronic manufacturers would team up with them. To display them in a half way descent sized room at AXPONA 2024, the tiny average sized rooms at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. Aren't cutting the mustard for proper listening to planer's/dipoles especially in the bass dept.

I noticed Guttenburg kept referencing them against Electrosatic speakers, but what about against a Magnepan speaker with an augmented dipole woofer?

I wouldn't have a pair in my house. One of the ugliest speakers I've ever seen.

it's the sound that matters anyway, and I'll bet they sound pretty dam good.

The LRS made his "Top 10" list from only three months ago, but not the ETs:

Please do elaborate on that. No, I don't live in Florida.
