This company is new to me, I saw them in Michael Fremer video from the FLAX show. They have several different models with varying features, some unique to only one model.

Welcome to our Minuet, the entry into the Clarisys Audio world.

Axpona Show
We will support Hegel and Shunata Research with three pairs of Minuet speakers. https://axpona.com/ mehr

This model uses a double sided bass panel, which allows for more current to flow through the panel and react more accurate in the magnetic field plus being an easier to drive impedance. Our ribbon tweeter starts at 500Hz and is a multi segmented 4 trace design. The entire speaker is very rigid and has no flex! The only parts moving are the panels, and nothing else! We use high quality copper foil internal wiring, point to point to ensure exceptional signal transfer and musicality.

There is an option to make the speaker even more easy to drive and very suitable for tube amps. The speaker can be build using rare earth magnets, neodymium. This pushes the efficiency of the speaker to over 90dB per Watt at 1m and allows the use of tube amplifiers with a matching 4ohm output transformer. This option is an additional 25% extra cost due to the material price and additional constructional effort to secure the magnets in place.

Warning Amp killer in this model.

Welcome to our Opera, the unique one in the Clarisys Audio world.

This model is an homage to the legendary Apogee Scintilla of the early 80s. The entire speaker is very rigid and has no flex! The only parts moving are the panels, and nothing else! We use high quality copper foil internal wiring, point to point to ensure exceptional signal transfer and musicality. The bass panel is single sided but about 20cm larger than the original model.
The midrange and tweeter design is of a coaxial kind! One large pure ribbon driver surrounded by 4 pure ribbon tweeters. It gives a one of a kind experience that cannot be explained, but must be heard! The "issue" is that the midrange is 0.2 ohm and the tweeters are 0.1 ohm. That is almost a dead short, so brutal amps are required.

Yeah, they've been around for awhile now.
Florian Weigand (long time Apogee user) is the guy in Switzerland and their engineering/manufacturing is done in Vietnam.

Dave.

I asked Mike B., the US importer/dealer, about the Opera's impedance. The manufacturer is in the process of redesigning this model of the speaker which will raise the impedance. Apparently some of the other lower models were already redesigned in the same way.

I suggested better magnets for maggies several years ago and got NOWHERE.

A Magnepan 'Custom Shop' approach would yield big profits.....IF done properly....
Too much is never enough

These remind me of the great sounding Apogee speakers, but with nicer industrial design and - from the looks of it - better fit and finish in the "furniture" aspects of the product.

I bet they will be quite expensive. Likely way outside most budgets.

I will have a listen to them at Axpona.
Science doesn't care what you believe.

Expensive Neodymium? From China?
You can understand the issues with that, yes?
