Lets say I ever want to upgrade from the LRS which speaker(S) represent a major upgrade for the least amount of money ? I have plenty of amp power and a modest size living room. it can be any kind of speaker - including buying used or even a DIY project provided it does not have insanely complex internal baffling. I am sensitive to brittleness and stridency in the treble range. I find that speakers that dont have driver coherency suck. Love the sound of AUDIO note .... hate the sound of Martin Logan. Not sensitive to horns ... hate mushy bass ,,,, dont like most sub woofers - dont like many but not all metal dome tweeters not looking for a ultra neutral boring sound either. more interested in an emotionally involving speaker over a accurate one

MLS can be expensive, compared to LRS and 1.7. However, they are competitive with other planar models. |
