Has magnepan provided any update on the condo speaker projection?

Should we expect that these speakers will eventually be available for purchase? It has been a year since magnepan performed the road show.

Thanks

I too have been curious about this... checking out this forum often to see if there is any new info. Since Josh is no longer our Magnepan spokesperson, who is now? Any info would be greatly appreciated... holding on to my 3.6s, waiting for that perfect speaker to appear to do that painful upgrade :)

Wendell, told me a few weeks ago, that all hands are on deck to keep up with current demand. Especially for the LRS, so the Condo project has been placed on hold.

I'm one of the lucky few who heard them last year. At Quintessence Audio in Morton Grove (Chicago) IL. I thought they were definitely more impressive than the 30.7's alone, regarding Everything related to Bass! While not disturbing the midrange. Not to mention it's in a more room friendly setup.

"All hands are on deck" making their entry level (returnable) $600 speaker?
If true that's kinda sad and doesn't say much about Magnepan.

Well Wendel did a North American tour with a speaker almost nobody can afford, and capped it off with the introduction of a speaker almost everybody can afford.

I think the measure of success is not just the profits made on the LRS, but more so the number of people who have bought .7, 1.7 or even 3.7 because of what they heard. And how many of those people initially bought the LRS and traded up. I think that was the plan.

He did mention the entire Magnepan line up has gotten a boost, from our current situation with people staying at home more. With demand for the LRS going thru the roof.

Magnepan is the Blue Collar Boutique speaker brand, which in the future it will probably cater more to the high dollar crowd. However that day is not today and won't be tomorrow either. Anyone who knows Magnepan knows they move along at glacier speed,

Cripes what's the rush on the Condo anyway. You can't even demo them at a decent audio show yet, maybe they will for AXPONA or RMAF for this year.
