I just bought a set of Magnaplaners at a garage sale there are no identifying markings on them . They are solid oak and sound great. I will include pictures . Would really appreciate any help to identify what make and model they are. Also I am powering them with an old Carver PM 350 is that enough.

This is obviously an MMG rebuild according to something similar to PG instructions. Very great deal you got there. Should have a resale value somewhat short of $1k. If it is a sandwich baffle construction it may be from one of our forum's old members.

Looking at the driver panel width, I'd say it's too narrow for an MMG. Maybe a MG-10?

Agreed, too narrow for an MMG, looks more like any of MC1, MG10 or even an MMGW.

Thought your title indicated 1D's, then you asked what model. :) ID not 1D, unless they're 1D, then the answer would be the ID is a 1D. Sorry, long day. Awaiting more pics.
P.S. Might want to include the specs on that amp.
P.P.S. My guess is Peter Gunn modified model of some sort; wood frames, Obligato caps.

The back side will tell more of the model than the front. I'm thinking any of MC1, MG10 or MMGW. Funny thing is, a picture has probably been posted here in the past of these, whoever made them...
Any existing speaker connections bottom rear? Can you tell if it's 1 or 2 drivers?

For sure at least two drivers as there is a crossover. MG10 are taller.

They look more like a Gunn clone to me. The finish is too basic and the rear supports don't look right. I could be wrong they are a close copy.

agree, they looked damn close until I saw the bottoms; in any event I agree it's the steal of the year-
