I finally got it hooked up using a 175Hz 18DB LP and 200 Hz 6DB HP. My pass Labs x150.5 drives the mid / ribbon. I have used and old B&K EX4420 to drive the bass panel. The first thing I noticed, by off loading The Pass amp the mids and highs had more detail. I also noticed improvement in depth and image as well. I also see that the Pass stays in class A mode at much higher volumes now. all and all a good exercise. I see Pass is going to discontinue the B4 soon. I got mine for $925 new, not a bad price for what it does. If I end up moving to a smaller house I may have to sell it.

Anyone needing a real good x/o at a relatively modest price, grab a First Watt B4 while you can!

Do you know if there is going to be a replacement for the B4?

Great buy on the B4! Curious did you try to emulate the OEM crossover (LP 280 4th order and HP 230 1st order).

Quote from first watt webpage

New First Watt products will find their way to market this year, and to make way for them, I am announcing "Last Call" on several models - the SIT-1, SIT-2, F6, B4, and B1. You can still get them new, but don't wait around. The J2 and F7 remain in production.

I started with those setting recommended by Andyr in an older thread, The B4 is easy enough to change settings, so no doubt i will experiment.
