I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Good food, surrounded by family and friends. While we don't all agree on everything, we all have much to be thankful for.

Hear, hear!

Thanksgiving: the only major U.S. holiday that always starts a four-day weekend. Admittedly, some people work on that Friday (poor bastards) but most don't. A non-sectarian quasi-religious feast day is pretty much the genius of the American system smothered in gravy.

Where the French revolutionaries got busy building guillotines and inventing silly new weights and measures, and the Russians and Chinese chose to collectively starve the masses, America sat down to dinner.

I love this country.

Could be Frank's twin.

Would have had about 2 seconds though before Frank was off the floor and on the plate.

You all have a great Turkey Day... for a few days...

His ancestors came over on the Mayflower. They were purrritans.

Stay golden.

Great picture - we have a strangely similar scene around our house today too! [nt] ;-), posted on November 28, 2024 at 13:21:41
