Not going to happen, IMO. But it's a nice thought.

Supposedly, Syria shot down a few of Israel's missiles. Uh-oh !

Looks like the Biden administration may have convinced Bibi to target missile production after all.

Ha! Prime Minister Netanyahu has been ignoring Biden for a long time. Superficially, for public consumption, they work with each other.

But if a person reads what they actually say, they're "not on the same page". Biden doesn't like what Netanyahu is doing, and Netanyahu doesn't agree with Biden's wishes.

Just a few days ago, Harris said that her Presidency "won't be a continuation" of the Biden Presidency. She didn't say how it would be different. Perhaps a follow-up question or three are in order. She is full of platitudes, and little on substance - that's a big a red flag.

All Iranian S-300 air defense systems have been destroyed, together with many "smaller" ones.

There is no chance russia is going to replenish these, as it is desperately short on them in Ukraine.

With their air defenses destroyed it becomes shooting fish in the barrel, Israel can conduct more such operations at any time with impunity. I hope they also destroy the drone factories.

Also destroyed the main plant making rocket fuel - huge plant, which is a great blow to Iranian missile production.

The detains are slowly trickling in.

Iran picked the wrong guy to fuck with.

The way the Israelis dispatched the Hezbollah is the stroke of genius, no one expected such a proficiency, and their plan was totally impossible to predict.

Despite all of the Iranian bluster ?

With so few human casualties in Iran, this is an amazing victory. I feel so happy about this, not only because those remaining Israeli hostages might come back, but because some semblance of peace might come back to the region. At least for a while.

Israel's seemingly "ruthless" clearing out of Gaza makes a little more sense now. It probably had to be done as part of the total plan. We all wish that it could have been done with fewer civilian casualties, of course. But I'm not so sure that any other way would have worked, unfortunately.

There is actually some hope now. I think.

The russian military equipment, while not bad in spots, is still decidedly outdated, and can't compete with the modern Western systems.

We are seeing the same situation in Ukraine, where most of the super-duper S-300 and even the "even more better" S-400's have been consistently knocked out by the Ukrainian drones and missiles.

And Ukraine's technology can't compare to the Israeli one. So the "incredible" S-400's were not even able to defend themselves... let alone the objects they were assigned to defend.

It will probably be a few more more days until all of the damage to Iranian war infrastructure has been assessed - or maybe more truthfully - publicized.

Then, we might know for sure...

Apparently there was some bargaining, Israel will be allowed to do as she wishes in Lebanon in return for not attacking the nuclear facilities.

In reality, how much damage could Israel inflict on the nuclear sites is unclear, considering how well they are protected.

That one, and that the EW planes created confusing images on the radars, rendering them blind.

Both have some plausibility, but in reality it is best if no one knows for sure.

The important fact is that the Iranian long range air defenses are COMPLETELY gone, so now Israel can fly there like it its own skies.

I have to tell you - I have studied many operations, and what Israel is currently doing in Lebanon and Iran are above any praise, their actions are simply astounding.

Only someone that smart and skilled can survive in that hostile and huge environment.
