Bosa and company have been having their way as the 49ers are wining in the trenches on both sides of the ball. But, if not a fumble at the goal, we'd have a tie game.

The Chiefs get the ball first in the 2nd half.

I think KC will score more in the second half after some adjustments. Niners defense has been really good. Mahomes isn't used to being so well contained.

Purdy is handling the stage well. Second half will go to the team with the better coaching staff and team that makes the better adjustments.

They must be saving Kelsey. We haven't had to watch TS celebrate...-yet.

With 1:30 to go in overtime, the question still stands!

I wanted SF to win. Lots of Denver related folks on the SF team including Christian McCaffrey (Ed McCaffrey's son) and Kyle Shanahan (Mike Shanahan's son) and others.

It wasn't the most exciting game but a suspenseful one in my view. Oh well.

He doesn't have the Rings that Brady does, but he does more with less than Brady did, and he can do things that Brady never could, like run with the football effectively, and throw on the run effectively.
But...the Chiefs defense was terrific. Seems like the game plan is to play soft against the run early and then shut the running game down late, and that secondary can really cover. Holding Santa Clara to a field goal in the first OT possession was the key to winning the game.
The way Christian McCaffery plays, I give him another season, half a season, before the injuries start piling up.
Great game, but a sloppy game.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.

You a Niners' fan?
I told my wife during the game, I don't get the Taylor Swift thing. Her music is OK, but that's just it. It's OK. No better, no worse. It isn't even new. She's re-recording her old albums just to spite some asshole producer.
And it's not like I'm some retrogrouch that doesn't like any music released after 1972. Hell, I even recognized Lana Del Rey and Ice Spice partying with Swift.
But if you think the NFL rigged the game to boost ratings by showing Taylor Swift celebrating, puh-leeze. It's the friggin' Super Bowl. Even zygotes watch the Super Bowl. It's the highest rated TV show of the year, every year.

Kelce was either overdosed or thinks he ran the play calling. That was the only dark episode on what was a very good game.

Both of those Kelsey's are strung pretty tight. Competitive to the extreme!

Although it is true that Ms. CfL used to teach Bill Walsh's daughter at their house while he was coaching the Niners. (And he was there sometimes, but his wife was the one who arranged everything - such as who their daughter's piano teacher was!)

And, no, I don't think the NFL rigged the game - from what I saw, the calls looked pretty fair.

What I love is the absurdity of the whole Tay phenomenon: this average talent being feted as if she were a goddess. Even Apple is afraid of her - and even as a Mac bigot going back to the 80's, I love it! ;-)

The whole Tay phenomenon (as you call it) is all NFL and Media over the top reaction to get views. Most individuals who don't feel the need to show outrage over such things simply don't care about Tay Tay and Kelce doing the dirty dance. There is a whole lot more important things going on that we should be concerned about.

It's the Super Bowl, millions of people all around the world watch it, and would have watched if Taylor Swift were slapping burgers in Scranton, PA.
The "Tay Phenomenon" has nothing to do with the NFL. It's her over the top popularity and it long predates Travis Kelce. Shit, man, there were Congressional hearings over Ticketmaster because of her fans and that was over a year ago.
Music critics rave over every album she releases. Every. Single. One.
It's just not possible for them all to be that good. What's more likely is that any criticism blows up their social media accounts and they don't want to deal with it.

I have never heard a single Taylor song. Not. Even. One. And the halftime show was the worst in recent memory.
Granted the Super Bowl draws a huge audience without Taylor, but the NFL and Media didn't miss a chance to promote it to hopefully attract her audience to boost viewers. I get it. But it had zero influence on my enjoyment. Zero.

Like I said elsewhere in this thread, her music isn't awful. It just isn't memorable. Yet, critics rave. Every album is a classic, best ever. Her fans are totally obsessed and there are multiple millions of them. People spent tens of thousands of dollars on her concert tickets, including airfare to multiple venues. Why? Anybody think she'd do the same for one of her fans?
BTW, I changed the channel to reruns of Who's Line Is It Anyway? during the half time show.
The only way I'd waste time with a Super Bowl half time show would be if John Coltrane leapt from his grave and took the gig.

The Greeks had plenty of them. The Catholics had the Virgin Mary. God knows, Swift is not a virgin, but I don't see many other 'goddesses' that can capture the public imagination. The French had Joan of Arc. I think a few 'goddesses' is OK to have.

. . . I read that she gave a rather substantial amount of cash to a couple of local hospitals. If I were one of her fans, I'd feel good about liking her! ;-)
