WTF?

It's only the bottom of the 7th. So, do we miss the first half?

What if it goes to extra innings? Its 6-5 Mets right now with 2 on and 2 outs.

Surprising result, given Stanford's unimpressive showing last week, posted on September 12, 2021 at 00:22:18

Stanford's win just shows that a lot of good things can happen when you change your quarterback! (The new QB is Mormon - maybe he'll be another Steve Young!)

I'm also thinking that Coach Helton may not last long this season? The SC alumni don't like to lose to the Trees. And if Helton doesn't redeem himself with wins over ND and UCLA, well. . .

Helton is toast. The run game was doing pretty well and then, when it counts, in the red zone, they abandon it. I don't get it. If you need a couple yards, you have to pound it in.

Slovis had a few balls dropped by the new receivers, but he seemed to just try to give it to London even after being double teamed and just didn't seem to be confident. SC has plenty of talent, but right now, I don't see them winning against UCLA or ND. Basically, unless SC wins out, Helton is gone, finally.
