...and accelerates. Cumulus Media/Westwood One has apparently informed their stable of broadcast talent, mostly conservative talk radio hosts, to temper their promotion of fake news and esp election conspiracies or there will be consequences. A sampling of affected hosts might be Mark Levine, Dan Bongino and Ben Schapiro (Ben less so than most others). If some form of balance isn't achieved soon there is going to be govt intervention probably not beneficial to the corporate types.

yesterday announced no more contribs for politicians who support Vanilla ISIS.
And apparently there are lows to which even football coaches will not sink.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.

...that they ARE the "hired help", and no one is "indispensable". Everyone is entitled to their views/opinions on their own time/dime, but when you are at work, your employer does own you (or at least is still renting you).

I hate the idea of suppression/censorship, in general, but realize it occurs every day, at every level of interaction/communication.

First, I've never heard of Bongino. Maybe he's looking for some exposure. Second, Glen Beck has been a little "out there" for quite a while. Twenty years ago, I was a Glen Beck listener - he was insightful and witty.

Somewhere along the way, he found Jesus and became all religious on the air, which is not why people had been listening to him. Then, he got all "the economy is going to crash - stock up on essentials", etc. As a result, I haven't listened to his program in many years.
