About a month before the lockdown I went to the LA Zoo with the family and the camera. I'll say up front that this chimp gang was my favorite photo that day. I especially like the guy scratching with the pine cone and the grinning guy upper left. Save the best for first, as they say.

All great, but I really like the one of the Lion (P2060865) a lot.

thanks, Dean. I like taking the camera to the zoo. Most of these were shot around 200-300mm with a zoom telephoto. Seems like the right lens there. In San Diego at the big park, I think I used the 600mm equivalent lens.

He always was a sucker for a a babe with a Frida brow and a banana.
