Hi Mike,

I tried to drop you a mail via your acrosound email address without much luck.

I'm looking for a pair of BCP16-GCNi.

Are you still winding these?

Sounds like chicken!

Thanks,

I actually have returned a pair of S.E.T 2A3 monoblocks I had to a Horus circuit. It's a nice amp.

I'm not listening to tubes much these days as the Western Australian summer is far from being tube friendly. Case in point, the Seths still haven't been converted to 240V since my arrival in Oz 12 years ago. Most of my listening is via a Bakoon AMP11 sand amp. Impressively nice for a sand amp I must say!

The grid chokes would be actually to bring back the Seths to the mk I version.

Sounds like chicken!

Mike, if you're in the mood for winding these, I need a single unit of the "Senior" model BCP-16 in Nickel. I have a pair where one was damaged in transit - perhaps it could be rewound?

Now I'm curious.

What's the Senior model?

Sounds like chicken!

BCP-16 Senior Model:
Frame measures 43mm x 34mm, mounting flange is 60mm wide, laminate stack 12.6mm thick. Resistance, inductance, and capacitance are each approx 50% higher than with the Junior Model. I'm not going to be more specific with electrical measurements here out of respect for Mike's intellectual property.

BCP-16 Junior Model:
Frame measures 37mm x 29mm, mounting flange is 52mm wide, laminate stack 10mm thick.
