Question about LL1660/10mA. ALT T- Connecting secondaries in parallel

Hi I used D3a (running at 20mA) tube connected to LL1660/10mA in Alt-T to drive 300B tube. As far as I know when in ALT -T the LL1660 is configured as 2:4.5 so we get a voltage gain of 2.25 but the output current will be reduced by the same ratio 20/2.25 = 9mA. In ALT -T the secondaries are connected in series. My question is: Can I connect the secondaries in parallel (connect 13 to 21 and 16 to 18) and get 18mA without the voltage gain. Will connecting the transformer this way will reduce the inductance? Thanks Shabtay
