First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass

Welcome back, Freddyi. We missed you. If I wasn't so pleased with my horn bass I would probably build a Karlson just to see if I like it.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.

You know you're a "hi fi nut" if you watch and listen to the whole hour and 50 minutes of it, though I originally intended to give it maybe 15 minutes. I had never heard of Reuben Guss before, and the animosity towards the attention the AR3 was getting in the market place was a bit surprising. Karlson's designs seemed to explode on the scene to me in the 70's in pics of some pro sound stuff, and the K tube too, and then they seemed to vanish as quickly. I tried making my own version of the K tube out of a paper towel cardboard tube back then, but never spent much time with it. I've still never heard any of the K boxes. I guess I'm still K Kurious though.

I have not, to date, been too impressed :(
BUT I am still fascinated by them.

Better to be King than Knight, Knave... or Knut, right? ;) (nt), posted on February 1, 2021 at 10:03:15

And all the men and women merely players of audio equipment therein

Freely interpreted from As You Like It ...and

Of any thing the image
Tell me that Hath kept with thy remembrance

...literally from Lear

Gotta stop now, snowy day with an old Concordance to Shakespeare by Bartlett, and this could get carried away easily.

Hello Freddy,
a practical question from a new X15 builder:
Should the edges of the wings be rounded, baffled or left as cut?
Does it make a difference?
