converting round cabinet vent to a slot vent

I have a 2cubic foot cabinet which is 8.5 inches wide which I would like to tune to an F3 of 38hz by using a slotted cabinet vent rather than the typical round vent. The correct round vent is 3" diameter by 7.25", however I don't know how to calculate for a slot vent. Does someone out there know what i would need for the slot height of this vent in a 8.5" wide cabinet?
