Perhaps this would help someone tuning their A7 (and perhaps apply to other systems) its a distillation of what he's learned so far - ALL stock Altec fiberglass was removed, with padding ONLY behind the 15 inch woofer, on the inside upper rear panel. Exterior bracing was added. The Stock port was brought back and preferred for mid bass beauty.    Karlson Evangelist
