Hiya,

Here are some photo's of my high efficiency on wall (or up against the wall...!!) line array speakers.
They use 16 BMR's per side, ( Sd 60 per driver) each 4.5 inch BMR is enclosed in a sealed 2.2 litre asmetrical sub enclosure.
System sensitivity = 100dB for 1 watt at 1 meter.
Wired as a 4 Ohm load ( 4 groups in series, each sub group in parallel)
Max SPL continuous approx 114dB with short term peaks way above that ( off the scale on my meter!!
They are now wall mounted ( will post more pics soon) and sound astonishing. No sub or super tweeter required at all for music.

People will forget what you say, they will even forget what you do, but they will always remember how you make them feel.

Another pic, of a cool 8 driver version.
The 8 driver version is only 95dB sensitive but is an easy 8 Ohm load.

I am working on a new 9 driver version which is 4 Ohm load and a genuine 98 dB for 1 watt.
By the way I only use the sub(s) for home cinema use as even 8 drivers per side really have a powerfull bass response. They benefit of on wall and or corner loading.

Cheers
Derek.

Hi,

I had to OEM a large batch of drivers to get the spec I wanted, its similar to the one that was sold on Parts Express website about 3 years ago. It used to sell for $60 back in 2009 2010 beforethe price of Neo magnets went through the roof...

I am still experimenting but in a few months I hope to have DIY kits available, both driver only kits plus cabinet and damping wiith driver kits. I am speaking with a few other DIY guys to gauge the demand.
Its quite a risk as I could end up funding a group buy and be left holding a lot of stock... We will see how things go.

Cheers
Derek.
