Finally,
Tidal now streaming MQA from there site
If you have Tidal and don't see the HIFI/Master setting you probably have to re load the latest version of Tidal. Sounds really good decoded with my Meridian Explorer 2 dac

How does it compare with the Audio-GD Master 7 on the same TIDAL stream?

And does ALL of TIDAL's catalog cause the MQA light to light up?

I'm getting a new computer for the office and already have a Master-7 in my main system and a Master-11 hooked to a MacBook Air in my living room easy chair so there would be a need for something in the office and the Meridian Explorer II might be worth a try as it is not overpriced for a what appears to be a self-powered USB DAC/Headphone amp.

Only albums shown under the master listings light up the light. The majority of files are still 16/44 non MQA
I am not going to do the MQA decoded vs Master 7 MQA non decoded.
I will tell you my friend in florida has the same Master 7 setup as me and he invited a friend over to compare Tidal MQA files vs the same non mqa files and listened for 3-4 hours. There conclusion was that in almost every case the non decoded MQA files sounded better than the non MQA files.

Well, the audacity! You have actually listened to it, unlike the armies of critics and fearmongers who knew from the get go that it was vaporware. It was merely a get rich quick scheme to impose DRM on all our music. Belief alone makes it clear that it could not possiby sound any good, but here you are saying it does. Shame on you.

Go back to Tidal.com and do a new download of Tidal. Select yes when asked to replace the original file

That is the version you need for MQA on Tidal
