This is an intermittent problem. Sometimes when I press the eject button, on the player or on the remote, the drawer opens but immediately closes. Press either button a second time and the drawer always stays open. I had a look inside to see if there was an obvious place to clean but decided it would be better to take the player in for service. Before I do that I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem on this player or another one, and what was the solution?

Thanks.

My UD 7007 just had drawer problems, wouldn't open at all.
It need a new Electrical Module of some sort to fix it, had to be sent to Marantz Factory, by the Dealer.
OK now.

As an afterthought I decided to clean the infrared lens, and the drawer has operated flawlessly since then. Not sure how this has solved the problem but for now I'm satisfied.
