I'm posting this to ask a question and simply because nobody here at home cares and I just felt like shouting ya-ah! A new tube headphone is on the way!

I'm heavy with audio excitement. I ordered a new Little Dot MKIII. I currently own Sennheiser HD238 headphones I prefer open back headphones and will be upgrading very soon. I like the Sennseiser sound but am open to others as long as they are open back.

Are there any Little Dot users out there with recommendations I should consider as I look to upgrade?

Thanks for listening...

Meant; A new tube headphone amp is on the way!
But you probably figured that out already.
Audio excitement wins over proper typing. :-)

It's O.K.

Nobody at my house gives a sh*t either.

we don't either here at AA. just kidding.

once the unit has ample of playing time then you may want to consider tube rolling. funny thing, i just received my used LD MK II yesterday. the driver tubes that came with my unit are mullard m8100.

I never was patient enough to figure out which LD worked well with low impedance headphones, Grado, Denon, BeyerDynamic, AKG, etc.

Wound up with Woo WA6. Prolly overkill but it IS purdy.
