These speakers are similar to the AudioEngne products with the little one being 7.5H x 4.75"W x 7.75"D and the big boy, 10"H x 6.5"W x8"D. Both speakers use an aluminum cone woofer along with a passive radiator and 1" aluminum dome tweeter. Woofers are 5.25" and 4" for the little brother. Both speakers are a 2 way bi-amped with inputs including bluetooth, USB audio, optical and analog inouts. A DSP is included to automatically handle any sub. The big boy also adds bass, mid and treble controls on the back. Bass is actually so good, a sub really isn't a 'have to' add on. In a word, FANTASTIC sound. If you need computer speakers, buy them for high end audio. Or put them in the garage and use your phone via bluetooth. Prices are $400 for the small one and $600 for the big boy. Better yet, buy them by August 14th and save 10% off with free shipping. -Rod |
