Looking forward to attending this weekend in Rockville MD. It's been two years since going, but I remember the show as wonderful, if not the largest. Being a bit smaller allowed attendees to mingle with designers and industry people much easier. This year's room count seems to have grown about 50%. I hope it still has the feel of prior shows.

I've been to Axpona more than once and once to the RMAF. Both excellent shows, but way too crowded for close up or relaxed evaluations.

I went last year, since it was the only way to hear various spe4akers I was interested in.

I went Friday. Lots more to see than past years. While it didn't grow 50%, exhibitors increased from 60 or so to 80 some. No reason not to go tomorrow!

Highlights for me were: The Voice That Is room (Tidal,Vertere, Innuos), GT Audio Works/Pass, EMIA (direct driven Quad 57s), GTT Audio (Kronos Sparta TT, Kubala Sosna, Auralic/Mola Mola), VAC with big VAC Statements/Von Schweikert Ultra 11s, Sanders Sound (electrostats & Magtech amps), Robyatt Audio (always good) and Backert Labs. Sadly, I missed Old Forge Studio, Classic Audio, VPI, Genesis, and several others I'd wanted to visit but caught most of them in years past.

One of my "And now for something competely different" favorites, was VK Music. Victor sells tube amp kits and speakers out of Vancouver Canada (he's here on the Asylum forums somewhere). I think I heard a setup including a Sun Valley Audio 211/845 amp. The sound was to die for (insert big grin hear). Honestly, one of the best sounds at the show, and no I don't know him, or own any of his stuff.

Even more vendors than last year. A great show gettting better over the past 4 years.

Heard some wonderful gear. However, the Wharfedale Linton's really are remarkable. Herb Reichert called it right. Audiophile sound for less-than-audiophile bucks.
