Grados are the best headphones around for rock music, IMO. Thanks for the legacy.

Best wishes from a long-time Grado cart owner (currently a Master). nt, posted on July 1, 2012 at 09:19:32

Thanks for helping make this industry and this hobby better. I'll continue enjoying my Grado Gold, Sonata and SR 80s. May the day find you happy and healthy.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for all the excellent music! I am an ardent lover of the Grado sound
because it is natural! I use Grado Gold1's, SR60's, SR225's, SR325i's,
RS1i's, and PS500's...

Happy Birthday Joe! My wife and I have enjoyed many of your fine cartridges through the years. The audio world is a better place for your presence.

Hope you have a good day Thursday.

Just a bump/reminder the day before Joe's birthday for anyone who hasn't posted a Birthday greeting and would like to do so. I will be having lunch with Joe tomorrow and will print out the posts for him to enjoy.

Dear Mr. Joe Grado,
I'm wearing an original JG HP-2 that I restored (cosmetically) found in a thrift store.

Yes, a thrift store!! The best $3.50 I've ever spent - (this after years of delightful sound from my SR125's - these at full retail but worth every cent of course. : )

I was able to restore the HP-2 due to your exquisite craftsmanship (and service dept.) - from the leather headband pad to its machined components, they are perfect in design and function, and a delight to listen through and look at - a treasure!

I look forward to hearing a Grado cartridge some day, once I get my turntables up and running again.

Thanks for the years of outstanding critical sound listening due to your uncompromising and superb standards.

Have a blessed and HAPPY 88th Birthday, sir - and many more.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Grado.

I sometimes still use and enjoy the Grado Signature 6 that you made for me and hand-delivered to George Bischoff's audio shop in Dunellen, NJ, in the early 1980s. Thank you for the great musicality and sonics!

Happy Birthday and thanks for helping make listening to music that much more of a pleasure!...N/T, posted on July 4, 2012 at 21:16:32

Many happy returns of the day, sir!

Like so many others, I've owned a fair number of Grado headphones and cartridges, given others as gifts and recommended them dozens of times. They appeal to everyone, audiophiles and those who aren't. I would call Grado products indispensable, and your work a great gift to all of us. A thousand thanks, and have a wonderful day and year.
