Playback testing my Calyx 24/192 Dac on hockey pucks before reassembly.

I've used hockey pucks in the past to tilt back a couple tower speakers. Also used them to elevate equipment for improved ventilation. Hockey pucks are the best and I didn't have to fork over serious audiophile cash for some magic tweaks.

Hockey pucks are great aren't they!

Used them under equipment as well and they look good too. (My wife didn't blink when I once had them under a soundbar.)

They are so solid and strong my son counter sunk drilled them and attached as feet to 2 pairs of old Peavey SP4ti speakers. 16 pucks in all. All new of course because us Canucks seem to always have some on hand. Believe it or not there was a "knock off" in there. Total mush when drilling out. Who knew LOL!

+1. I've used hockey pucks in quite a few applications. It's hard to beat the price as you've already noted....not to mention the build quality :)

Aren't hockey pucks hard and slippery?

I've used a hockey puck as a record clamp. Just drill a hole in the exact center and the right size for a tight fit.

Good idea. I wasn't that creative with mine using them mostly as spacers.

I have a bunch of them too in various sizes - nt, posted on November 20, 2024 at 16:32:35
