Just received an Audio-gd R7 Mk2 DAC. The settings button protocol is so poorly written that, for the life of me, I can't figure it out. I'm stuck at 51441 (I2S, Internal Clock, NOS 44.1hz). I want to get to the OS settings, 8x in particular. Please help, thanks!

Back in the day when Audio-GD did everything with jumpers, 8x oversampling was default or how the box was delivered.

Either that or learn Chinese. ;-)

You might hunt around YouTube for Audio-gd R7 Mk2 setup. I found a few videos but didn't search deep enough to find actual setup info.

Here's one video that explains the "euphonic firmware" vs the "accurate firmware". Apparently there's a Chinese company-tech who will offer to control your computer remotely to update the Audio-gd R7 Mk2 DAC with the firmware you want. Hmm. I wonder if he also works for TikTok.

Why does he keep saying Quinoa?

Thanks Abe! Unfortunately the R7 is a different animal from the R7 M2. Multifunction digital buttons with little to no, or poor instructions are the bane of my existence. I have looked on YouTube for help but haven't found what I'm looking for, yet.

I see a couple videos that include the Audio-GD R7 Mk2 but I haven't watched them. I'm not sure if they dive into setup.

I bought one of these used a few months ago and could not figure out anything but which input to use. I sold it for what I paid for it as I felt it was nothing special and went back to a Pontus II.
