This DAC looks like an inexpensive option for use with an Xfinity X1 digital CATV box. Certainly not expected to sound as good as a Gustard X12 DAC placed in my main audio system, but the Q8 product has a more advanced design than the typical low-budget DACs flooding the marketplace. It seems like a safe bet for an inexpensive, non-critical listening application. Your thoughts are welcome. TIA

 It might be like the quirky term "HiFi Fever" or some other Chinese translation glitch. BTW, I think the Breeze Audio brand name is more about the enclosure manufacturer than an actual audio component product brand name, since a number of other online sources use enclosures with the name marked on it. A black Sharpie pen could do well to make the word "Compress" disappear...

 Breeze also made a decent USB converter. I had one but it was soon bettered by the melodius and then the Singxer
