I really enjoyed reading the "Loudspeaker Designer Roundtable" interviews in The Absolute Sound: 2020 Ultimate Directory to High-End Loudspeakers and Cables. Articles like this one are why I still subscribe to audiophile magazines. While I find many of the equipment reviews interesting, it's the articles on design and technology that for me are the most enjoyable to read. (That and music.) I find that there's usually some tidbit of information that helps me to get the most out of my stereo system. I especially like it when I read something that validates a tweak I've made that involved a fair amount of trial-and-error. I couldn't exactly explain why the experiment worked but now it makes sense. :-) Tom PS: I hope that TAS is able to publish the third volume (source components) of their high-end audio series of coffee table books. This pandemic must be a major setback in getting it completed and published. |

Disappointed you had tossed the High end Directory into retrievable trash. Bill |
