By switching to a Graphic Novel format. Imagine the artwork and frame by frame development of test reports and manufacturer's tours? See Herb in trenchcoat and hat whistling through the alleyways while discovering a new component and how it sounds. Assisted by Rabi Atkinson in a small, dank workspace in a basement somewhere laying down the law on test results. This has legs. Let's go with it.

I can definitely see it.

Not just Herb, either...

And, maybe some villains?
The evil Dr. Steve G., perhaps?

His super-power -- disguising himself as John Lennon to confound all audiophiles who are still buying Beatles records.

They would need a new Editor to begin with.

Secure the film rights.

NOW!

You can send me a small gratuity when they get picked up by Netflix for the series.

Think of the tie ins...

It's a big stretch to get from Bluetooth speakers or thrift-store vintage low-fi kitsch to Stereophile's world where $1000 things are considered "mid-fi". They could spin off a publication devoted to affordable and portable audio, including vintage and diy projects.
The comic format is better than plain text or photos for explaining what to look for in vintage speakers, how to replace a phono cartridge or stylus, or hook up a classic stereo receiver to a Bluetooth receiver.
Or maybe Stereophile's advertisers would be better served by appealing to the "most expensivest" crowd of conspicuous consumers and their followers. Show off at least one A-list celeb's home/car/boat audio/video system every issue. Sponsor showcase booths or suites at suitable events.
