I have subscribed to TAS via Next Newsstand for the last 5 years....and every year, they let my subscription lapse without informing me or inviting me to re-new?
I have subscribed to Stereophile also for the last 5 years via Zinio....and ALWAYS receive adequate warning of the end of my subscription period.

Is every subscriber to TAS treated in this way by Next Newsstand.....or is it because I'm an Aussie? :-)

Yes, it has always been like this. I have even paid for 12 months and never saw a subscription being activated. Mailed support many many times: never got a single reaction. I moved to Stereophile too.
Life is too short for mediocre sound

Nope, they don't notify me either. A rather amazing oversight, given that they'd sell me more magazines if they did.

Zinio, on the other hand, has been spamming me with renewal notice after renewal notice, which, along with their practically unusable service and app, makes me kind of reluctant to renew. One would be enough, thank you, with one issue to go -- this isn't the days of mail-in cards and six-week lead times.

I say Next and Zinio should split the difference.
