System matching vs Wire matching

Sometimes people talk about the synergistic effect of matching system components with the same manufacturer, ie getting the complete 'house sound'. I've tried it in the past with gear, I have to say it does have some merit but its not the end-all be-all in terms of sound. However I'm finding that using all Duelund wire is having some fantastic results. All my cables including power cords are Duelund and I can not say I've heard anything better. J.
