Duster, I value your expertise and would welcome your opinion.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Bluesound Node 2i for
the purpose of taking the digital signal via bluetooth
from my Ipad to the Node to my Wadia 15i dac via my Genesis
Digital Lense. I currently have a full loom of modified
Flavor 4's with Furutech FI-28R's on each end into Furutech
FT-D20A's being fed by a 10AWG dedicated circuit.

The Node uses a C-7 connector so the Flavor 4 is out as the
FI-8NR that I have only accepts 12AWG, this will be mated
with another FI-28R at the wall. My question is, Acoustic
Revive 8800, Oyaide Black Mamba or do you favor something
else? Quality of sound is the only consideration. Thanks for
your time.
Wood1

The Oyaide Black Mamba V2 is particularly good for digital source components, and slim enough to fit into the Furutech FI-8NR C7 connector without issue. I think you would find it performs better than the Flavor 4 for a digital streamer, so it's a fine choice for the application, Wood1.

Thanks Duster, I'm going to order 3m so I can make 2 cables.
The other I will try on my other digital components
and see how it goes. Do you have a favorite vendor
for the Mamba?
Thanks again, Wood1

A different source, but the Japanese seller seems trustworthy, as usual.

Thanks Duster, he is precisely the vendor I was looking at due to
his perfect feedback. It will take a month or so to
gather and assemble, I will post my impressions after
a suitable break-in period for both the Node II and
the cable.
Thanks again, Wood1
