Looking for 25' stereo pair of speaker wire - no bi-wiring. Would prefer something with an extended and smooth top end - or as close to that as possible. Up to around $1,000 give or take, though [much] less would be better. I seem to prefer the banana BFA style Z-Plugs.

I do have a couple of options in mind but could really use more possibilities.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I suggest DH Labs Q-10 Signature cables.

Thanks, yes, those are on my list. Do you use them? If so, can you describe their sound quality a bit? How do they do with imaging/focus on instruments and voices, for instance?

Yes, I have used them in the past, when I required a longer run. I thought they where revealing with a clear, not harsh top end. Low end was full, never boomy, easy to pick out separate instruments and to hear individual notes. I had the original model, not the signature, bought the wire by the foot and terminated them myself. I have since down sized and listening near field with stand mounted speakers. Now I use 5' solid silver speaker cables and my interconnects are solid silver too. For longer runs, like you require, I think a silver/copper hybrid the Q-10's are a good choice.
