DIY interconnects with DH Labs White Lightning Cable

 I picked up a 6' length of DH Labs White Lightning Cable, on-the-cheap, to make a pair of 3' unbalanced interconnects using Switchcraft 3502A RCA connectors.
While I am NOT expected audio nirvana, what exactly can I expect with these, as say compared to a 3' pair of Blue Jean Cable LC-1 interconnects?

 Actually, they came out quite nice.
I put black and red heat shrink on the end of both ICs also.
In physical appearance, the raw cable itself reminds me a lot of Belden 1505A.

 One point I would make is that all three of the cables you have mentioned use different conductors for the Pos and Neg legs of the cable. The signal is a voltage potential between the two conductors so it makes sense to me that the two conductors should be identical. Those cables use a wire for the positive conductor and use the braided shield for the negative. Those two conductors have very different electrical characteristics. I just don't see why most cable manufacturers don't recognise this fact. I notice that DH Labs Pro Studio cables are constructed as I suggest. There are two identical conductors within the cable and there is also a shield. Anyway, thanks for bringing the DH Labs cables to my attention. I am going to make a pair of cables using the Pro Studio.
