Moderators and Site Managers:Am I barred from ever posting here?
I posted last week, for the first time in over a year.
MY POST WAS IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously, there's some cowboy moderator who burns with muderous hatred for me.
Here's the deal. I've got 2 music topics about which I'd like to post.
They're music essentials. They'll inform and teach everyone something valuable about music. Things most folks never knew before. My posts will stimulate discussion - the best kind.And yes, I'll back off of the insults and abuse. I'l be good.
How 'bout it? Can you Asylum Rulers give me break?

1. My post was titled "A brief appearence". It announced my return after a long abscence. I noted that I was banned for calling another inmate a "slimey slimeball". I laid out my intentions and agenda for forthcoming posts: [a] presenting a letter about Bruckner which was not published by the leading English language classical magazine; [b] posting a chronology of the Brahms symphonies. I may have made some untoward remarks about the intellegence of inmates.2. I posted on the Music General board. I'm aware that on eof the moderators, who's not the main Music General moderator, really really really hates me (I think he needs counseling, but - who am I to say?), and that he takes it upon himself to delete any an every post of mine, unless he's stopped by one of the other moderators.
3. I use only Severius! Supremus Invictus, and I'm registered as such. The reason for using any other names TODAY is in the hopes of evading the attention of the self-appointed assasin-type moderator, thereby getting my posts at least a snowball's chance in hell of getting thru to one of the other moderators and getting this nut off of my back.

Even a guilty as hell murderer has a chance to appeal - aren't I given the same consideration?1. What - exactly - have I done that's so awful as to be PERMANENTLY banned? Sure, I'm a little rough. So what? In real life, lot's of peopel are. Everyone knows my style - and, for the sake of the moderators, I've toned things down.
2. I've been absent for a year. Isn't that punishment enough?
3. I've got a lot to offer - more than just about anyone. My musical knowledge, depth of understanding and analysis, and my insights, are hard to find in anyone else.
Look at the music board. It's dead. There're post such as "How do you organize your collection", and "What was your first album?".
In place of that , I'm offering:
*An authoritative analysis and chronology of Brahms's symphonies, exposing errors in HIP "scholarship".
*An analysis and review of the new wave of Bruckner editions.
*An examination of the 19th century orchestra and what it was really like.
And so on. Who else can bring this level of discussion to the site, and do it in such a spirited way?
