Somehow I got in this thread, but only because I've rented too many Prizms in my life and a few Corollas too. I figure the differences in cosmetics and trim amount to about 2%. By the way, it's Prizm. Get it straight :)

Seriously though, imported goods are subject to all kinds of price fixing and market manipulation by middle men here in the US. You can make easy money in the import business if you manage to score the right product line.
