I am introducing a new Jewel bearing design for owners of many turntables.
The bearing is an accoustically decoupled design which will be the quietest I have yet produced.
Please send me an email for the specifics of this bearing in your application.
The price is under $400.00 USD for most bearing designs.
The extreme low level resonance of this design will produce the quietest backgrounds you will hear from your LP platform.

I was told that jewelled bearings, albeit very good, are too fragile to be used in tonearms. Perhaps this is only applicable to gimbal jewelled bearing and not uni pivots. Could you please elaborate on the durability.
Absolute top quality work and the results are more than worth the wait.
We don't shush around here!
Life is analog...digital is just samples thereof
Mierko, the Eastern European guy in California makes some fantastic bearings for the Thorens TD124, and the Garrard 301,and the Empire, and several others.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
Too bad. I e-mailed him. Never heard back.
I did talk with Jim. Got the bearing assembly for my VPI and it's terrific. Reasonable price too. Thanks Jim!
As long time watchmaker, I understand and can appreciate the concept of jeweled bearing surfaces. Very interesting for use in turntables! Great idea, Jim!
I like what this mod did for my VPI TNT table. Seems worth the cost. Jim is a good guy to deal with!
