The random number generator in the Apple II+ Basic was not a true random number generator. It was unpredictable, but not random (all numbers having an equal chance of being drawn). So for "random drawings" at the local Apple Club monthly meetings I wrote a random number generator program in assembler. Those were the fun days.Remember when Apple came out with the 5 Megabyte hard drive and everyone wondered how you could possible fill up a 5MB hard drive!
