I am playing around with a sleeper tonearm right now. It is an OEM one from a Kenwood KD-550. Damn! Tubes was right. It is a solid piece that does its job well. While not particularly esoteric, it is an extremely good value.

I'm betting Koshin Denki because it has that company's style of construction, but who knows? Anyway, it is smooth and well thought out. The finish is of the highest quality. Every adjustment is easy, too. It does have a somewhat limited range in that it won't work with very lightweight cartridges, but that is a common trait in tonearms.
