I have owned ultra light mass, low medium massed, medium massed, and high mass arms. All have done a great job when properly matched to the cartridge.However, my highest detail arms have always seemed to be the ultra low mass or low mass arms. These tend to always have a lighter counterweight and very near the pivot point with the exception of the Black Widow that hung a heavier weight a little further out. It required silicone dampening in order to track difficult vinyl obstacles.
I would love to know if others have this same experience, and if there are some mathematical properties at play.
