  Thanx for clarifying. I have both an older 3009II-R and the newer 3009II-R Improved (but I acquired it w/ non-pulley type bias guide). I look forward in reading your follow-up with the older 3012II-R.

      I know! 8^) And I know SME'site well too. The only reason I put the "R" in there is because my Improved version has a removable headshell (higher effective mass), which is actually designated in SME's site as "S2/R". Read the first paragraph of this page:
