I'm getting this TT out of storage and want to replace the (very old) cart, an Ortofon OM 20. The closest replacement I've found is the Ortofon OM5e. The weight is within range but I'm not sure if the compliance is okay. The Dual specs say compliance of 35 while the OM5e has a compliance of 20. Is this okay or is it just too far off? I don't know the compliance of the old cart.
Also suggestions for other carts are appreciated.
Follow Ups:
Just buy a new Sty20 for the body - they are still available. There is no reason to buy an OM5E or SuperOM5E unless cost is an issue.

Thanks, I'll look for the Sty20.
In case you don't want to stick with the Ortofon cartridge.
I had a deck with the ULM arm and ran a Shure M97xe in it.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
I want to stay with Ortofon just to avoid spending a lot of time looking but the add on weight does open it up to other carts.
Thanks for the info.
...but as you revive your old Dual, any problems you have with no sound one one channel, or just a hum on one channel, the sled will be the cause.
Even if the sled hasn't been removed in years, there could still be contact issues.
If there are, clean the contacts with metal polish (not Deoxit), and follow up with alcohol. Should fix the problem.

Not sure if mine has the sled but if so the problems you mention will be obvious. Either way thanks for the input.

Thanks for the link. Looks like the easiest option so I think I'll go for it.
If you can afford it, it is best to stick with an Ortofon original stylus for performance and sound quality.
In particular, the Sty20 is a nude stylus and offers a very useful bump in performance over the Sty10. Although the Sty20 is almost double the price of the LPGear generic replacement, the performance is well worth paying the premium for IMO.

Not concerned with the price difference and I did not know about the quality differences, so thanks for the explanation.
This is a trial to see if I listen to LPs enough to warrant a new TT. Fortunately I did not get rid of my (500 or so) LPs as many did back in the 80s.
