Haven't played this for ages. But this must be one of the greatest rock/prog "Concept" Albums. The early release with a page of lyrics and graphics for each song is how records should be made. Sounds great, looks great!

My introduction to AP
Have this same iteration of the LP, and it's a nice package and sounds great.
I wasn't originally too big on this first release of theirs, but have really gotten to like it in recent years.

I also have the CD. In the booklet AP explains he transferred the 24 track analog tape to 24 track digital and he made a completely new mix. Ambience on the drums etc. Spectacular mix but of course totally different from the original mix.
This is the original artist making a new mix, OK. I just got a best-of CD of the Free, UK rock band around 1970, remember All Right Now? There was a delay on the vocal. I checked the original LP. No delay, dry almost mono sound. A 1990 CD, i bet they didn't consult the band. This is not done IMHO.
